Join us for an intermediate-beginner class to make this adorable Felted FlowerPurse! The pattern, designed by Dagmar Kuta (@dragomeira), is a great way to practice colorwork without all those ends to weave in.
Instead of cutting your yarn every time you change colors, you’ll learn how to carry the yarn as you crochet. We’ll walk you through the technique step by step and help you get comfortable with the color changes.
The purse is a little too ambitious to finish in one class, but the good news is that we’ll spend our time together on the more challenging beginning section. Once you have that part down, you can take your project home and finish it at your own pace. Need help along the way? Bring it to our Saturday Fiber Arts Meetup, 10–noon, and keep working with us!
And then comes the fun part: felting! We’ll explain the process and what you’ll need to know if you want to felt your purse yourself. If you’d rather have us handle it, just bring your finished crocheted purse back to the shop and I can felt it for you in a day or two.

Project: Felted Flower Purse
Cost: $45 for the class, $45 for supplies
Supplies: Two skeins of Eco+ 100% wool yarn in colors of your choosing, yarn for the center of the flower, a 50 pack of stitch markers, and an aluminum crochet hook
Extras: You will also receive 10% off one purchase with the purchase of a class.
