Makers Cannot Suppress the Urge to Make ~
A Christmas quilt.
I made this memorial quilt for a baby - the hearts were cut from his clothing.
Yarn bombing.
A pillowcase embroidered by my grandmother when she was a young woman.
The bottom gave out on a metal sided basket so I wove a new one.
One bunny was clothed with a fat quarter and the other from a well loved pair of my old jeans.
The wrong side can sometimes be as interesting as the front.
This baby doll was given to my grandmother on her fifth birthday. She lent it to me when I was small, and I lent it to my youngest in turn. Baby (as she is known) is wrapped in a blanket and a Moses basket I made.

I got this chair for free, but it had some cat damage. I used fabric glue to attach some patches (the last of the beloved pillowcase) which were placed both strategically and aesthetically.
